Portable and Playable New Yamaha PSR-E323 and PSR-E223
With the new PSR-E323 and PSR-E223, Yamaha’s technical innovation, design quality and worldwide distribution have led to the addition of powerful specifications and features to its entry-level products. Though perfect for the beginner, in part because the models feature Yamaha Education Suite capabilities, these keyboards provide plenty of room for the novice player to grow.
The PSR-E323, which replaces model PSR-E313, comes with 61 full-size keys and a touch sensitive keyboard. It includes an easy-to-use one-button, two-track recorder and Flash ROM for transferring songs and new accompaniment Styles from the Internet. Packed with 482 voices, the Music Database feature includes 102 preset songs, each with its own specially-selected Style and Voice settings. In addition to XGlite and reverb, the model offers exceptional sound in its price point.
“A wealth of easy-to-use features paves the path for people to reach their goal of playing music,” says Dane Madsen, Digital Piano marketing manager, Yamaha Keyboard Division. “As their ability progresses, Flash ROM lets users download and transfer new songs into the keyboard for listening and learning, thus increasing the chances that a beginner will stay with music.”
The PSR-E223 replaces the PSR-E213 and features 61 full-size keys, bass ports and 375 General MIDI and XGlite compatible voices for computer connectivity, along with 32 note polyphony and nine digital reverb settings.
“This model has the sound and features for a person who wants to learn to play, many of which are found only on much more expensive keyboards,” says Madsen.
